1st grant period scientific goals

  • Carry out a full-fledged analysis to discriminate between and standard or an extended picture of gravity, and classify of theories with mathematical and physical concurrence. Provide discriminators to be compared with experiments at ultraviolet and infrared physical scales. Calculate systematically post-Newtonian parameters towards Solar System scales and astrophysical scales tests. Compare ETG with effective quantum field theory. Withstand ETG scenarios with phenomenology from running experiments (LHC).
  • Select relativistic effects that can sort out the debate about ETGs, tailor two key codes for the simulation of relevant relativistic effects, perform galactic scale and cluster scale tests on ETGs, and reformulate stellar structure phyics in the framework of ETGs.
